The ARAI Helmets Regent-X Helmet in Modern Gray, size 2XL, offers advanced safety features and superior comfort for motorcycle riders. Crafted with a Peripherally Belted Complex Laminate Construction (PB-CLC) shell, this helmet combines lightweight design with increased strength, ensuring reliable protection during your rides. The shell’s design emphasizes aerodynamics and impact resistance, with flared edges around the base to facilitate easy donning and removal while maintaining a secure fit. The helmet’s shell shape is optimized for the majority of North American head shapes, featuring an intermediate oval profile that ensures a comfortable and snug fit for most users.

The VAS (Variable Axis System) shield mechanism provides quick, intuitive operation with a smaller, lower pivot cover that increases the shield’s opening area. The innovative latch securely holds the shield closed, reducing the risk of accidental openings. The shield itself is designed with a smooth surface along the Snell test line in the temple area, allowing it to glance off objects during impacts and enhancing rider safety. The large latch mechanism simplifies shield operation, making it easy to quickly adjust or replace the shield as needed.

Comfort and customization are prioritized with adjustable perimeter liners and cheek pads, allowing users to tailor the fit precisely to their head size. The soft-brushed, removable liner offers easy cleaning and added comfort, while the FCS® cheek pads feature a contoured shape with multiple foam layers and foam “spring” support to cradle the face and block wind noise. Effective ventilation is achieved through a one-piece exhaust vent that improves heat extraction and aerodynamic stability, complemented by a top exhaust vent that remains open at all times to help dissipate heat and moisture, reducing shield fogging.
