Its Variable Axis System (VAS) shield mechanism enhances the helmet’s shape by increasing the front-to-back space of the EPS liner while reducing side-to-side clearance, providing a snug yet comfortable fit. The VAS latch securely holds the shield closed, preventing accidental openings during rides and ensuring reliable protection. This system also lowers the pivot point by approximately 24 mm, creating a smoother surface area around the temple and reducing impact energy transfer, which enhances overall safety. The shell is constructed with Peripherally Belted - Super Complex Laminate Construction (PB-SCLC), combining multiple materials and techniques that deliver high performance at an affordable price point. The helmet’s design emphasizes aerodynamics and ventilation, featuring QVF three-position intake vents and QVR exhaust ducts that optimize airflow for a cooler ride.
